Vocational Innovation Centre

Welcome to our Vocational Innovation Centre

It is an absolute pleasure to inform the community that the Vocational Innovation Centre is open! Seven Hills High School is excited by the prospects that the new facility provides to teaching and learning.

The development is not just a building with industry standard facilities, it represents the direction Seven Hills High School is taking to provide new experiences, and innovative curriculum pathways for students. Now available to staff and students, this up-to-date specialist facility will enable students to gain skills that will support them in acquiring apprenticeships, traineeships and trade qualifications, as well as pathways to higher education.

At Seven Hills High School, we are committed to providing the new Vocational Education and Training (VET) curriculum as part of the NSW Government Vocational High Schools Program. The courses delivered focus on developing hands-on experience, obtaining workplace skills and acquiring technical knowledge.

Our objective is to promote independence, resilience and a love for learning. All of this can only be achieved by the school community working together, that is, the parents and guardians, the students themselves, as well as the staff of the school.

We are dedicated to striving for quality and expanding on the future prospects of our students so that they achieve their desired goals. We recognise every child is unique and tailor experiences that build on individual strengths and self-confidence. Working with our industry partners enables us to deliver quality outcomes within our local network so that we create a strong community where all individuals contribute constructively to society.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for their support during the construction of the building and look forward to sharing our success stories with you as the new curriculum grows and programs are implemented across different faculties in the school.
