Location and Transport
Seven Hills High School is located on Johnson Avenue, Seven Hills, NSW 2147
Student safety is our priority. Parents and carers are asked to ensure that students are able to travel to school safely. There are a number of ways you can assist in making the daily commute for your child as safe as possible:
Drive and park safely - it is better to park a distance away and walk with your child to the school than to try and drop them off as close as possible
Never call your child from across a road or ask them to cross unassisted
When crossing the road, use the safest place possible, preferably at the traffic lights
We encourage students to walk or ride to school if their parent/carer thinks it is safe to do so. Walking, riding or even skateboarding can be a way to get some exercise on their daily commute. Public transport is another option for students to get to school independently. Parents and carers are encouraged to discuss school travel with their child and together plan the safest route to and from school. This can include:
Walking to school safely and obeying traffic rules
Using public transport safely
Wearing helmets/protective clothing when cycling or skateboarding
Understanding road rules and responsibilities when cycling or skateboarding

Subsidised school travel
Transport for NSW provides subsidies to assist school students.
- The School Student Transport Scheme provides eligible students with free or subsidised travel on public transport between home and school.
- The School Drive Subsidy may help towards the costs of driving children to school if you live in an area where there is no public transport.
