Financial contributions and assistance

Financial Contributions and Assistance

Like any school, attending Seven Hills High School has associated costs that parents and carers should consider budgeting for. These costs include uniforms, schoolbooks, equipment, excursions, and co-curricular activities such as sporting competitions, debating, performances, displays and competitions.

By paying school fees and the P&C contribution, you enable Seven Hills High School to provide the best possible educational support for your child. Important equipment such as computers and associated technology, consumable materials and other educational tools enhance a student’s learning experience and allow us to offer a wider variety of educational programs.

There are also fees associated with selected mandatory and elective courses from Years 7 - 10. The 2023 Mandatory and Elective Subject Fee flyer outlines the fees associated with these courses. With knowledge of this, and the necessity to pay these fees, parental approval is given for a student to enter into a particular course of study for 1 or 2 years.

Seven Hills High School would like every student to engage positively in all learning experiences. During challenging times, we recognise that there may be families who are experiencing difficulty with fee payments. Please contact the school to make full payment or to discuss payment provisions.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
